Bonney Law specializes in human rights and employee-side litigation. Our approach to all cases is trauma-informed and grounded in social justice. Our legal services are billed hourly at a rate of $225, with flexible billing options available. We also accept Legal Aid for those who qualify. Rates are subject to a yearly increase.

We provide legal consultation and representation for non-unionized employees facing a variety of issues, including workplace harassment, discipline, discrimination, and termination disputes. Book a consultation with us to have your severance package reviewed to ensure compliance with the Employment Standards Act and the common law. 

We can represent you in various mental health matters, including involuntary detention under the Mental Health Act and findings of incapacity related to personal care, finances, and treatment under the Health Care Consent Act. 

We have extensive experience in all aspects of prison law, including representation at Coroner's Inquests, Habeas Corpus applications, and civil claims and human rights complaints against correctional institutions. 

Bonney Law offers commissioning services for legal documents at a rate of $40 + HST per commissioned document (inclusive of exhibits).

Initial legal consultation includes a review of documents related to your legal matter, followed by a 30-minute phone or Zoom call. These consultations are billed at a standard rate of $250 + HST.
